Infomercial Junkie

Scenario #1
One morning, I was organizing Jathan's drawer while he put on some clothes. I noticed some stains on his sleeves and also on his chest.
me: Jathan, you need to keep your clothes clean, so your little brother can wear them too.
Jathan: or we can get oxiclean! It gets the toughest stain. We really need some oxiclean, it will make our laundry whiter and cleaner.
Me: Jathan, where did you learn about Oxiclean?
Jathan: on TV commercials.

Scenario #2
Before Christmas, we saw the pajama jean commercials a few times, and Jathan was crazy about them.
Jathan: Mom, you need to buy some pajama jeans.
Me: What pajama jeans? (of course I knew what they were.)
Jathan: pajama jeans are jeans and pajama at the same time, you can wear them to shopping and to bed.

On the day he told me about pajama jeans, he also told several people about them. It just happened that I got some jeggings (denim leggings) for Christmas, Jathan was so excited when he found out, he said to me, "Mom, is that pajama jean?

What can I say? Jathan is a funny boy!

FYI, we don't watch TV that often, especially watching infomercial. I know for the fact that Jathan only watched the pajama jean commercial 3 times. We do not have the TV on all day long.
