Brianne never really like veggie of any kind, we are lucky if we can get her to eat a bite or two. Tonight, we had broccoli for dinner, as usual Brianne ate everything but the broccoli.
Jeff was enjoying his ice-cream when Brianne approach him with a "I'm a daddy's girl" smile, wanting some.
Jeff: You need to finish your broccoli, just take couple bites.
Brianne: I don't want to!
Me: Brianne, daddy is going to eat all the ice-cream, hurry and eat your broccoli,
Brianne: I'm saving them for tomorrow.
Me: well, we will save the ice-cream for you when you eat your broccoli tomorrow.
After Brianne found out what she said didn't work on us, she put her broccoli in her mouth. We gladly rewarded her with some ice-cream.
I was just amazed how quick she was to come up with an excuse to reason with us, and she is only 3. She might not know she is trying to outsmarting us, she knows it or not, I'm not going to let that happen. At least not now. =)
