Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween Everyone! I hope you have a great time on Halloween, Jathan and Brianne sure did! Jathan wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween this year, but I didn't feel like making him the costume or spending a fortune for it. Luckily he let me convinced him to be Indiana Jones, because we pretty much have everything. He was very pleased being Indiana Jones after the costume was put together. For Brianne, our nice neighbors let her use their daughter's witch outfit. She was pretty excited to be a witch.
When we were in Pennsylvania last year, they did Halloween differently and we missed out the trick or treat, I think that why the kids were extra excited for this year trick or treating. Believe or not, we still missed our ward's trunk or treat party. I don't know how, but we missed it. haha!!!!

We took the kids to a Halloween carnival and they had a blast, especially with the angry bird game. We thought it would be okay for the kids to try their horror house there since it was a family event,we didn't think it would be so scary, but it was a bad idea. not only the kids were scared, I was a little bothered by it. (I never a haunted house person) Both of them ended up on our bed that night.

Jathan and Brianne also had a lot of fun craving their pumpkins. Brianne wanted to crave a witch, and Jathan wanted Angry bird and something scary, so his nice daddy did just what he wanted. All the pumpkins turned out pretty nice, all the trick or treaters loved the angry bird one.

Brianne enjoyed watching Jathan's school Halloween Parade, Jathan was in his character all day and he didn't even noticed we were there. I thought Jathan's teachers look pretty awesome in their costumes.
